          Congratulations!

            Did your child make Honor Roll or Principal’s List this grading period? If so, your child is an Academic Blackbelt! All involved parents know that getting good grades in school is one of the most important things that children should strive to achieve. And it all begins in Elementary school. Pre-K, Kindergarten, first and second graders do not receive letter grades yet. However, letter grades will determine many opportunities that may, or may not, become available throughout a persons’ lifetime which begin in third grade.

Getting good grades teaches many other important lessons too:

• Discipline
• Work Ethic
• Focus and Concentration
• Persistence
• Accountability
• Goal Setting and Achievement

          Authentic Martial Arts has been building leaders since 1980. We have learned that when “involved parents”, just like you, love, guide, and support their children the probability for their success is almost a certainty. We have also found that the children of this “involved parent community” absolutely thrive in our positively charged environment which utilizes positive reinforcement and recognition as our “tools of the trade”.

Additionally important, are the Core Values and Blackbelt Character Traits that these high performing children learn to demonstrate in their everyday lives at school, at home, with their teachers, parents, brothers, sisters, and friends.

As a community service it would be my Honor to recognize your child as an Academic Blackbelt.
